Your tasks

  • Experimental cell level safety, performance and aging evaluation of next generation lithium ion cell technology and definition of test & models' protocols for lithium ion cell testing
  • Virtual battery system safety performance evaluation of solid state battery systems such as experimental evaluation of aging and swelling behavior of secondlife cells
  • Project management and scientific organization of research workshops, e.g. with universities in Brazil and continuous coordination with the project partners, ensuring the correct use of funding and reporting.
  • Publications in scientific journals such as representation of the project, e.g. at international scientific meetings, conferences and workshops
  • Scientific support by the elaboration of joint research proposals and supervision of students
  • A doctoral project is welcomed and supported.

Profile:


  • Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical engineering or similar
  • Experiences in battery cell testing and data analysis
  • Basic programming knowledge in e.g. Matlab, Labview or similar
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, result/oriented independent work such as willingness to learn the use of new technologies, procedures, equipment
  • Willingness to cooperate and travel internationally e.g., to Brazil
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and ideally German, basic knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish is beneficial but not necessary.
