- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.

- Two year trial period may be required.
- This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.

- Individuals hired from the Continental United States (CONUS) and their family members (who are US citizens) are required to obtain Official Passports prior to departure to the overseas area.
Qualifications:
This is a Part-Time 0331 Teacher, Biology, Secondary position for School Year This position is 40 hours per pay period and open to current U.S. citizens located in Spangdahlem, Germany.
DoDEA operates a variety of school configurations. Secondary teachers may be required to teach at the middle and senior high school levels.
Endorsements for optional additional categories in other content areas can be met with 24 semester hours of credit once an educator has met the 30 semester-hour requirement for the initial secondary category.
- The minimum qualification standards are as follows:
0331, Teacher, Biology, Secondary:A major in biology or a minimum of 30 semester hours in the field of science is required. Course work must include a minimum of 12 semester hours in biology and a minimum of 12 semester hours of upper level courses in science.
