What you will do

  • You... identify existing methods for generating synthetic time series data
- develop reference implementations of existing methods for generating synthetic time series data
- evaluate the implemented methods for the generation of synthetic time series data with respect to their generalizability


What you bring to the table

  • You are studying mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics, mathematics or similar.
  • You have:
  • Experience in dealing with time series data
  • First experiences with the analysis of vibration data
  • Experience in Python as well as Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Tensorflow
  • First experiences in working with Unix Shell
  • First experience in the generation of synthetic data (data augmentation)
  • You are interested in combining AIspecific methodological knowledge with domainspecific knowledge.
