Platform Compute Cloud Architect (M/F/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lifecycle
You will lead projects in the context of cloud transformation
You will develop and establish data and platform services as a globally responsible service architect or product owner (M/F/d)
You will be responsible for the creation, implementation and lifecycle of infrastructure services
You will integrate further cloud providers and SaaS solutions into the company in compliance with the regulations:
API-first
SD WAN Connection Pattern
Bayer EA Framework
You will participate in the implementation of the IT strategy with the business objectives of the company in the area of global infrastructure.
You will ensure compliance with the financial targets of the services for which you are responsible
You will work closely with the Services Managers and ensure the smooth functioning and outcome of your services
You will consult with project teams to align projects with the IT architecture and determine when exceptions are required

WHO YOU ARE

You have successfully completed a university degree (Bachelor or Master) in computer science, business, or a comparable education
You have proven experience with agile working methodologies such as DevOps, SecOps, SCRUM or CloudOps
You have solid skills and are experienced in using at least two of the technology areas listed:
Public Cloud Services and their efficient use
Public Cloud / Application Transformations
SAP infrastructures
FinOps
SRE
API usage
Well Architected Frameworks on Azure, AWS
You have extensive knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, container platforms, PaaS, hybrid cloud, and edge strategies of hyperscalers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
You have the ability to deal with ambiguous situations and basic openmindedness toward new technologies
You have a very good understanding of business processes and their technical implementation
You have very good English skills (native or full working proficiency), both written and spoken
