Your mission:


What you'll be doing:

With the support of the CF curriculum design team,


The Course Writer will:

  • Write approximately 10 Exercises (each words) following an outline provided by the Instructional Design team, including any stepbystep instructions, demonstrations, examples, and practical tasks.
  • Prepare additional assets to support the learning content, such as diagrams/images, screenshots, sample deliverables, practice activities, curated resources.
  • Respond to feedback from inhouse instructional designers, making updates based on feedback.
  • Prepare student project brief concept and documentation (including any assets/deliverables required to simulate realistic project scenario).

The Course Reviewer will:

  • Review Exercises for consistency and correctness, and validate the work of the SME writer and Instructional Designer by adding and responding to comments.
  • Contribute resources and ideas to support students meeting the learning objectives, including suggestions for video content.
  • Test instructions for tutorials, tasks, demonstrations, and practice activities.
  • Contribute the task evaluation rubrics for each Exercise.

What we're looking for:


  • A professional designer (UX Designer, UI Designer, Interaction Designer, Product Designer) with explicit experience working on an AI/MLpowered product through all stages of the design process.
  • Expert knowledge of how the design process is applied and adapted for AI/MLpowered products and user interactions/humanmachine interactions.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML functions, training models, and algorithms, including how data is used for AI/MLpowered features/products and how this influences the design.
  • Experienced working on a crossfunctional product team on AI/MLpowered features and products.
  • Uptodate with the latest industry trends in AI and design.

Teaching/Writing Experience:

  • Strong writing experience, ideally with long form and/or instructional materials.
  • Teaching/mentoring experience.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple explanations and examples.
  • Able to meet deadlines and respond to feedback.

Time Commitment:

  • The Course Writer contract will last approximately 4 months, with a commitment of 1517 hours per week.
  • The Course Reviewer contract will last approximately 4 months, with a commitment of 710 hours per week.

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with projectbased learning.
  • Previous experience preparing online learning materials.
  • Previous experience preparing learning content for adult learners.
