Job Description:

Do you have a passion for building secure, highly scalable software delivering services to many millions of users across the globe? Do you have experience building and leading multi-disciplinary software teams of rock star developers eager to tackle big challenges? Have you mastered the intricacies of cloud-native, containerized microservices architectures orchestrated by Kubernetes? If you answered "yes" to all the questions above, let's talk

We are looking for a Team Lead (M/F/d) to join our existing Platform Engineering team based in Göppingen, Germany.

  • Lead agile engineering teams focused on building and maintaining the infrastructure and services used by all TeamViewer products
  • Accountability for delivery of the roadmap
  • Technical architectural leadership of the agile team responsible for the platform powering all TeamViewer products
  • Responsible for quality of the code team delivers as well as their overall effectiveness
  • Utilization of strong technical background to inspire and guide the team, ensure that their solutions can be used by other teams in an easy and flexible manner
  • Providing guidance to the team to foster an agile mindset focusing on delivering software meeting highest quality in terms of stability, performance, and security

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years in a leadership role in an agile environment
  • 5+ years of software development experience in at least one highlevel language (C++ or C# a plus)
  • Expertise in cloudnative development technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc ) and with microservices architectures
  • Expertise in one or more major cloud service providers (GCP, Azure, and/or AWS)
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture and design principles (experience with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases a plus)
  • Good knowledge of clean coding principles, design patterns for objectorientated programming, scalable distributed systems, security, and network communication
  • Structured and analytical working methods and a good team spirit
  • A spirit of lifelong learning and eagerness to tackle new challenges every day
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
