Position
- The Head of Product Marketing is a leadership role responsible for crafting, communicating, positioning and messaging to the market, enabling product growth, sales and influencing product and marketing strategy via market intelligence analysis.
- The position reports to the VP Marketing and is a central role that will work closely with product management, sales, presales and corporate marketing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product gotomarket strategy. Translate the products and features the company launches to their target customer, through product positioning and communication, driving adoption and usage by their customer base.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product in the market and develop all associated sales and marketing content/collateral/tools. Promote the value and narrative of the products internally and externally.
- Plan and execute product launches and support creation of demand generation campaigns with targeting, positioning and content creation in collaboration with the corporate marketing team.
- Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team, and channel partners, and develop the sales tools that support the selling process.
- Provide market, ecosystem, competitive and customer analyses to support marketing, sales and product management planning.
- Internal and external product evangelist, public spokesman to press/analysts, blogger/writer, speaker at trade shows, seminars and webinars, and partner/channel enablement.
- Follow up on KPIs, report on success to management, and iterate to maximize the impact of initiatives.
- Build and guide a team of enthusiastic product marketing managers, driving their growth and development. Set the foundations for the product marketing team, developing processes, playbooks and best practices across the team.

- 8+ years' experience in a similar role at a technology company or SAAS company
- Strong leadership experience, leading remote and multicultural team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence the ambition and motivation of team members
- Project management skills
- Analytical mindset
- Great organizational and communication skills
- Fluency in English. German is great to have
