Faculty of Business and Economics, the
Junior Professorship in Sustainability Assessment

and Policy (Jun.
Prof. Dr. Samanthi Dijkstra-Silva) offers a position as


Research Associate / Postdoc (M/F/x)

starting
as soon as possible._ _The position comprises 60 % of the full-time weekly hours and is limited
until December 31, 2024. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research
Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz-WissZeitVG). The position offers the chance to obtain
further academic qualification.


Tasks:
Conduct and analyze interviews and surveys on responsibility, decision-making, and learning
approaches for sustainability in organizations, with a focus on technology as enabler; develop
scientifically sound contributions to the international academic literature based on the results;
collaborate with natural scientists and engineers based at TU Dresden and other institutions on
sustainability performance and innovation; manage and support the development of a funding


Requirements:
university and PhD degree in in Business, with explicit focus on sustainability; interest
data, experience with structured, semi-structured, and open interviews; experience with using
qualitative data analysis software; excellent command of English language; self-starter with proven
ability to build on existing research approaches and design. Ideally up-to-date knowledge of systems
change, business capabilities, and research approaches in the context of sustainable business and
national policy in at least two countries.
