- Electrical and thermal design of power semiconductor modules for electric and hybrid vehicles
- Participation in the development and integration of new chip technologies based on Si and SiC for power modules
- Elaboration of specifications based on application requirements, creation of datasheets, technical reports, and presentation of results
- Planning and execution of electrical and thermal characterization including the evaluation and analysis of data
- Accompanyi ng the construction, commissioning, and testing of prototypes until series production
- Collaboration in international, interdisciplinary, and cross-site teams As an experienced Staff Engineer (f/m/div), you understand how to develop ideas and solutions together in a team, are open to new ideas, and are receptive to different ways of thinking and acting. - Have successfully completed a university degree (Diploma/Master/PhD) in the field of electrical engineering, physics , or a related field
- Have several years (minimum 3 years) of relevant professional experience in the field of power electronics
- Bring very good knowledge of power electronic components IGBT, MOSFET, and diodes based on Si and SiC
- Have experience with power electronic measurement technology and the c haracterization of power modules
- Have demonstrated experience in circuit simulation, , Pspice, MATLAB
- Can communicate effectively in German and English
