Taros is looking for a highly motivated and research-oriented person with good problem-solving skills to lead and support the process of research and scale up.

The main role is to take turn compounds into commercial products. The overall goal is to develop synthetic routes that are safe, cost-effective, environmentally friendly, scalable, and efficient.


What you can expect:

• Leading and managing a team of Process Research and Scale-Up Scientists to deliver 'onquality' and 'onquantity' compounds to stringent timelines
• Developing synthetic plans, and designing and running test experiments for largescale use
• Using a variety of analytical methods to monitor reaction processes
• Troubleshooting existing processes
• Experimenting with multiple variables simultaneously and identifying acceptable ranges for all operational parameters
• Improving existing processes to reduce costs and to increase reliability, purity, and safety
• Responsibility for the resolution of all technical and scientific issues that affect, or could potentially affect, the delivery of materials to internal project teams and partners ensuring early visibility and awareness into implementation risks, identifying preventative measures, investigating, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Supporting in project writing and in making the proposal for a project

What we expect:

• PhD In Organic Chemistry and at least 10year experience (preferably in CRO) in Process Development and in Scale Up

• Good conceptual, analytical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a high paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects at the same time and be able to change priorities as needed by the business
