Your tasks

Do you want to become part of our international and dynamic Strategy & Business Development Replacement Tires EMEA team? Would you like to drive a structured business development approach which is the key driver for a successful implementation of the Business Area strategy? Furthermore taking a key role in developing and deploying a sustainability strategy for the Business Area, ensuring alignment within Tires Group Sector & Continental Group?

As a core member, the Teamlead Business Development & Sustainability (M/F/diverse) will actively contribute to the strategy & business development activities, your main tasks are the following:

Teamlead Business development:

Initiation, support, and lead of projects
Utilization of Business Analytics insights to initiate actions and changes in central functions
Support and cooperation with Business Area Replacement Tires sales organizations to implement Business Development tools and activities (aimed at increasing value as well as leveraging synergies)

Sustainability:

Sustainability strategy definition, implementation & deployment within the Business Area Replacement Tires EMEA
Coordinating & driving sustainability projects within the Business Area Replacement Tires EMEA
Interface on all topics around sustainability towards Product Management, Research & Development, Marketing, Public Relations, market organizations & Group Sector Tires Sustainability
Broadening the business intelligence around sustainability in replacement tires & gathering relevant insights to drive business decisions
Organizing & running the Standards & Regulations Council EMEA in collaboration with Standards & Regulations department

Profile:

University degree in either Business Administration or with technical academic background or comparable
Several years of work experience in sales, marketing, or related functions
Preferably thorough understanding of tires markets from experience in previous functions
Proven team lead skills, either leading people or project teams (crossfunctional, international project work)
Setting ambitious strategic goals
Communicating with impact
Strong analytical skills
Full proficiency in English and German
