Within the Global Operations Engineering Team, we are looking for an Operations Excellence Project Lead (f/m/d) to join our Hamburg team.

You will be part of a team with focus on operational excellence, product cost management, and product life cycle management.

In this central role you will work with all business lines with a broad product portfolio within the segments Automotive, Industrial & IoT, Mobile, and Communication Infrastructure.

You will also span a broad network to Global Operations functions like IT, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and purchasing.

In this exciting role your responsibilities will include:

Monthly report-out and analysis of overall NXP product-based savings
Analysis of product cost structure to identify improvement potential
Close cooperation with company internal parties from Development, Purchasing, Finance, External Manufacturing, Supply Chain
Development and maintenance of analysis tools (MS office based)
Improvements of business processes with business line operations teams
Benchmarking to gain more insight into untapped cost reduction options

Your profile:

Diploma/master degree in technical business economics, electrical engineering or physics
PHD or 3 years of experience in a comparable environment
Strong analytical, interpretation, problem solving and research skills
Strong team player attitude to take views of all relevant stakeholders into account and to find an optimal solution to solve issues or resistance
Responsible and selfdependent action
Strong will to succeed and to push new projects through the organizations
Selfmotivated with plenty of initiative
Basic knowledge of semiconductor wafer fabrication, test and backend processes preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
