    The role of Quality Assurance Specialist at Cytiva involves supporting QA operations in the viral vector cell line development sector.

    This position, based in Cologne as part of the Viral Vector business unit within the Genomic Medicine Operation Company, will be a hybrid and temporary role for 24 months. Our vision at Cytiva is to drive the advancement of future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

    What you will be responsible for:
    • Creating, reviewing, and providing training on SOPs and other quality-related documents or procedures
    • Managing documents in the electronic DMS system and assisting in the upkeep of our laboratory monitoring system
    • Handling change control and deviation management, ensuring necessary corrective and preventive actions are taken, and overseeing related measures
    • Monitoring and endorsing internal and external cell bank tests
    • Supporting teams in enhancing internal processes through tools such as Kaizen

    What we are looking for:
    • Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a similar field
    • Proven experience in understanding Quality requirements in accordance with ISO 9001
    • Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, Electronic Documentation System)
    • Demonstrated global work environment exposure
    • Fluent in both written and spoken English

    Additional experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
    • Previous involvement in Quality Management aligned with standards like ISO 9001 or ISO 13485
    • Knowledge of current GMP regulations would be beneficial
    • Understanding of laboratory work or cell culture
