- Creation, review, and training of SOPs and other quality-related documents or procedures
- Administration of documents in the electronic DMS system and assistance in the management of our laboratory monitoring system
- Management of change control and deviations, including ensuring the implementation of necessary corrective and preventive actions
- Approval and oversight of internal and external cell bank tests
- Assistance to teams in enhancing internal processes through methodologies like Kaizen
- Holder of a degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or similar field
- Demonstrated understanding of Quality requirements in line with ISO 9001
- Proficient in computer tools such as Word, Excel, and Electronic Documentation System
- Proven experience in an international work setting
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Quality Management practices following standards like ISO 9001 or ISO 13485
- Familiarity with current GMP regulations
- Background in laboratory work or cell culture

The Quality Assurance Specialist at Cytiva is responsible for supporting QA operations in the viral vector cell line development sector.
This role is part of the Viral Vector unit within the Genomic Medicine Operation Company in Cologne, and will be a hybrid and temporary position for 24 months. Our mission at Cytiva is to drive the progression of future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
