    1 . Genuine Work Life Balance - This job has occasional travel, but it is predominantly to client sites in and around Munich so this would be way less than in a normal Consulting job. If you're in Consulting now this is your chance to get your personal life back. They also offer a hybrid working pattern with c2 days per week in the office, on average.

    When a project has a tight deadline and you have to work late you get your overtime credited via a flexitime system.

    One of the team I met had just come back from a 3 week trip home to the USA taken as flexi time on top of his standard holiday allocation.

    You won't get that at most Consulting firms.

    2 . Real Big Data Projects with high visibility - You'll mostly be project managing technical Big Data projects.

    Some of these will be capturing the low hanging fruit and aimed at leading the company towards smart decision making and strategic use of data.

    Others will be the cutting edge of cyber insurance or risk management. These initiatives have the board level commitment you need to make transformation work. This company is taking their Digital Transformation seriously. Really seriously.

    Your job will be right at the heart of this.

    3 . Fast growing Team - Since 2019 the team have grown from 200 people to over 500 people. Not bad growth inside a couple of years. A business unit only grows that fast in a large company if it has C-level backing and it's delivering.

    Growing teams = big opportunities for you to get promoted quicker.

Here you won't get that. Whilst you're eating your cakes in the canteen expect stakeholders of previous projects to come up to you. They'll be thanking you for the successful project you delivered long after you're gone. This actually happened when I was there. I was half way through gobbling my second cake at the time.

    9. Unparalleled Career Progression - There are two completely different career tracks available for you to climb up the ladder. The Consulting career track has 6 different levels to progress through if you stay working as an in house consultant. In addition to this around 20% of the team move into senior positions in the wider company if an opportunity comes up that is a perfect fit. The entire group of companies has over 150k employees which means the career opportunities are virtually endless.

    Minimum Requirements

    • 3+ years experience in a relevant insurance position
    • Ideally consultancy experience or experience in project management methods, process development and continuous improvement
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking and strong business partnering skills
    • Excellent analytical thinking
    • Fluent in English with business-proficiency level in German.
