For its product development and benchmarking activities XSYS is looking for a new member of its Application Technology team. The job is located at XSYS' newly established Innovation Center in Willstätt.

Your responsibilities comprise:
- planning and conducting experiments to systematically evaluate the performance of a printing plate including plate processing, physical and optical evaluation of the cliché and evaluation of print results
- literature research
- creating technical reports and presentations to summarise and present project results and conclusions in German and English
- occasionally supporting early product tests at customer premises
- closely collaborating with R&D, Technical Service, QC, Product Management and Sales

Qualification Profile:
University (of applied science) degree in print technology or a comparable education or equivalent professional experience

- expertise in pre-press and printing technologies (preferably flexo printing and letterpress printing)

Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Passion for technology; desire to learn new things
Willingness to travel occasionally
Welldeveloped communication and language skills
English and German; additional languages are beneficial
Experience with standard MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; Lotus Notes, SAP ArtPro, FlexRip or Adobe CS beneficial
