Gas Trader (f/d/m):

The position is based in Bremen
with the option of mobile working**:

Your main responsibilities:

P&L responsibility for existing and new developing business in proprietary trading (focus on the curve) within the framework of assigned risk mandates
Development and implementation of profitable trading strategies with a focus on NWE countries, especially TTF (including locationspreads covering NWE Natural Gas mainly in TTF and THE Markets)
Play an active role in supporting other asset trading, portfolio management and optimisation activities within the company by providing market insights through active collaboration
Quantitative and qualitative analysis of the market environment, development of a market view and communication within the company
Professional leadership in the continuous development of traderelevant processes and IT as well as the implementation of new products and markets

Your profile:

Advanced degree in natural science, engineering or economics (diploma or master)
Several years of experience in the active management of large gas or crosscommodity portfolios, particularly in proprietary trading, and an aboveaverage P&L track record
Broad range of knowledge and experience with gas and/or crosscommodity trading strategies is required
Expert ability to explain and communicate impact of price changes (level, spreads and dynamics) on position value
Expertise on an objectoriented programming language (e. g. Python) is advantageous
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Entrepreneurial attitude, strong willingness to perform and learn as well as a handson mentality
Resilient and enjoy working in a team, ability to understand the team needs and open to develop ideas to meet the team objectives
Very good English skills
