Location:
Berlin, Germany (Hybrid - mainly working from home with 1 day per week in co-working space in Berlin and occasional travel to the London office) or London, UK (Hybrid - minimum 1 day per week in the office)

Job Overview:


The Quality Assurance and Assessment Officer will play a key role in supporting the centralised assessment process and implementing relevant quality assurance measures to ensure high quality assessment delivery.

The post holder will support the Head of Quality Improvement in implementing relevant aspects of the quality improvement plan.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract CIArb assessors and moderators for assessments using the department's Approved Faculty List database
  • Manage exchange of assessment scripts between the department and assessors and moderators
  • Administer the assessor shadowing process to help grow the pool of CIArb approved assessors
  • Complete quality checks on assessor feedback, marks, and pass rates in line with quality assurance guidelines to ensure consistency across modules at a global level
  • Record assessor performance and support the administration of the Approved Faculty database
  • Work closely with the Head of Quality Improvement to manage risks and address potential quality issues.

Requirements:


Essential:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects adhering to logistics, timescales, and deadlines
  • Strong sense of tact and diplomacy when dealing with stakeholders
  • IT literate and strong experience of using MS Office (Excel), CRM systems, LMS, and databases
  • Strong numerical and data skills
  • Experience in reporting
  • Experience of working in the educational environment, particularly with respect to assessment organisation and delivery
  • Experience of working in quality assurance

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a membership organisation
Summary terms and conditions

Contract:
Full-time, 12 months Fixed term


Salary:
Equivalent to £ 32,000 per annum
