Location: Regensburg, DE, 93055For our new Technical Compliance Management System organization on corporate level we are looking for a Senior Functional Safety Assessor (M/F/d) to ensure adherence to functional safety requirements.

The Functional Safety Assessor (M/F/d) reports to the head of functional experts within the Technical Compliance unit. The position can be filled in Regensburg, Nuremberg, Schwalbach or Berlin.

Your new responsibilities:

Assessment and release of functional safety aspects in development projects including the initiation of escalation processes in case of unsatisfactory assessments
Creation, improvement and rollout of internal functional safety rules and guidelines with a worldwide scope
External representation of Vitesco Technologies regarding functional safety
Management of external ISO26262 audits and performing internal preaudits
Cooperation with functional safety process managers on process design and optimization
Support of project managers and project teams about the interpretation and consideration of functional safety guidelines, such as documentation requirements
Creation of information and training material regarding functional safety and conduction of trainings if applicable
Definition and rollout of an electrical safety standard and assessments

Your profile:

Academic degree in a technical field of study, for example Electric Drives, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Technology, a comparable field of study or a comparable qualification
Longterm professional experience in the automotive industry and preferably in the supplier business
Several years of experience with selfguided work and fundamental knowledge of functional safety management
Longterm experience as assessor and auditor, including coaching and trainings needed
Profound Knowledge with ISO 26262, ASPICE and IATF 1694
Business fluent English and German language skills written and spoken
Advanced communication skills for collaboration within international organizational structures, as well as advanced team working, and networking skills needed
