Role & Responsibilities

  • In this role, you'll create style and creative proposals, sketches and mockups and prototypes to kickstart the design for campaigns products and features
  • Working as part of a global group of Monks on both local and international assignments, you'll operate across teams and time zones on projects big and small.
  • Working with other creative Monks to brainstorm ideas, campaigns and win new clients and projects.
  • You make sure the designs are in line with the project's objectives and client expectations.
  • You look after the execution of the art direction and help to improve the work by offering new angles, inspiration, best practices and practical solutions.
  • You'll help translate creative/client briefs into thorough design briefs.
  • Pixel perfectness is important. You safeguard quality at all times.
  • Working alongside the Creative Director and the team, you make sure our designs and processes are in line with the client's objectives and expectations.
  • You make sure that designs adhere to guidelines, are consistent across formats and look pixel perfect in any dimension.

Requirements:


You're a technically skilled designer with 2+ years of high-level experience as designer or art director crafting digital ads and assets.


  • As showcased in your portfolio, your Photoshop skills are so slick, they look shopped.
  • Working with clients and colleagues around the world, you also need to have strong English skills.
  • You have experience with all stages of the design process, from conceptualizing styles to finalizing layouts and rolling out designs across markets and formats.
  • Creating balanced and beautiful layouts is your second nature, or just something you're good at.
  • You also know a thing or two about templating and process optimizations.
  • With an articulate understanding of fundamentals such as typography, interaction design, flow and storytelling, you can get teams to improve the work on both an aesthetic and functional level.
  • You know how to sell designs to colleagues and clients alike, and ideally have some experience doing client presentations.
