Purpose:


Responsible for driving
revenue growth and
business strategy at the sub-Regional level, through the engagement and leadership of all the functions involved in the
commercial cycle.



Key Responsibilities:


SUB-REGION LEADERSHIP

  • Defining and driving the subregions (DACH and Poland, Nordics and Benelux, UK and Ireland) Business Objectives and Annual Operating Plans, i.e.
    P&L ownership as per appropriate delegation of authorities. Meeting specific country financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, forecasting cost, capex, continuous improvement
  • Establish & drive the most adequate business strategy, based on the
    country specificities and the agreed priorities. Enhance rapid decision making for business efficacy and excellent customer experience. Provide guidance and approvals in case of business escalation

Leadership Team management: define and guide regular reporting and strategic discussions to focus the commercial functions' leaders to a
unified customer experience approach

  • Manage
    KPI
  • Key Performance Indicators to evaluate and develop the organization
  • Spread ideas and direction throughout the organization until every employee understands their expected role,
    responsibilities and accountabilities**:
  • Define the
    values and behaviours focusing on continuous development and the achievement of bold corporate goals. Drive
    people development in line with organizational design and business goals, focusing on excellence and "can-do" attitude
  • Enhance a
    culture of talent, based on recognized competencies and tangible results. Drives effective
    succession plans providing relevant opportunities for development within the organization
  • Steer the social partnership agenda as well as works agreement negotiations together with HR
  • Oversee the implementation of new products, projects, programs to achieve strategic objectives
  • Facilitate the
    Integration Process of acquired companies as per integration plan
  • Engage
    Support Functions as business partners to enhance the commercial lifecycle
  • Where applicable, manage relationship with
    Work Councils and National Unions in line with local rules or manages delegates to the appropriate local Leader

COMMERCIAL EXCELLENCE

  • Ensures a
    unified commercial team, designing execution strategies that are based on the cooperation of Sales, Service and Marketing
  • Design and enforces business
    differentiator strategies for profitable growth and business expansion in the country
  • Drive commercial teams towards the
    business plans' execution. Communicate and support established
    commercial targets and metrics and manage constant reporting on results
  • Provide direction on
    direct / indirect channels
  • Ensure that the commercial strategy supports
    margin
    growth for further business investments
  • Manages
    Business Review and Reporting at EMEAI level and is responsible for providing accurate forecasting reporting
  • Supervise
    Lobbying activities in those countries where applicable, with a strong focus on local regulations and compliance
  • Facilitate and drive the adoption of corporate
    commercial tools and methodologies in EMEAI
  • Develop field
    competences and knowledge through continuous exchange with the Commercial Learning Experience function
  • Foster international
    network and cooperation with other functions to maximize sales excellence and customer focus

SITE MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE

  • Ensure processes and field executions are compliant to country regulations and EMEAI
    Organizational Model. Focus on Lean-Management approaches to streamline, simplify and innovate internal procedures and workflows
  • Design riskmanagement mechanisms comprehensive of a focus on change management
  • Supervise all the country's policies, Health & Safety, Quality and compliance activities
  • Maintain the
    Site identity: lead internal communication, drive quarterly Site Meetings through active engagement, own CSR events
  • Where applicable, delegates to
    Site Leaders the management of: Site Quarterly Meetings and Internal Communi
