About us:


The Corporate Controlling department of MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group is the central point of contact for all Controlling-related topics within the company.

Through close cooperation with finance and operational departments of the Headquarter and subsidiaries, we enable target and result-oriented corporate management.


Business Unit Controlling, as a sub-area of Corporate Controlling, acts as an interface between countries and headquarter and supports steering the business and decision-making process.


Your tasks:


As part of the Corporate Controlling team, you will join a team that is passionate about numbers, data, analysis and how to use them to generate insights and improve our business.


  • Analysis of the P&L, Balance Sheet and operational KPIs of countries/subsidiaries
  • Performing deep dive analysis on country/subsidiary financial and operational reports and challenging the developments and potentials in a financial and commercial area
  • Developing reports and controlling tools as well as international standards
  • Performing target setting, simulations and business cases
  • Guiding budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Supporting management with adhoc analysis to enable implementation of strategic initiatives, actively supporting business decisionmaking

Requirements:

We are successful together if you are characterized by a highly independent, result-oriented way of working as well as a pronounced analytical and conceptual thinking ability


In addition, you bring:

  • Successfully completed university degree in the field of Business Administration with a focus on Finance & Controlling
  • Relevant professional experience in Controlling and Planning
  • High learning ability and willingness to work on new topics
  • Handson team player (M/F/d) with strong interpersonal skills and proactive and solutionsoriented crosscultural approach
  • Excellence in analytic thinking together with the ability to grasp the 'bigpicture' and at the same time dive deep into details that drives it
  • Expert (M/F/d) in Excel and Power Point, proficient knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions (SAP, BI tools)
