Your tasks


The camera technology group develops, implements and tests new camera solutions for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, Object Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition and others.


We are looking for a student (M/F/diverse) in the area of mechanics working for camera technologies for at least 1 year, beginning as soon as possible in Ulm.

We employ working students for a minimum of 10 hours per week and a maximum of 18 hours per week

In your role as a working student for mechanics cameras, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support design activities using CATIA, prototyping and 3D measurement software
  • Support creation and modification of CAD data of medium complexity, simulation, drawings of the specified products considering internal standards
  • Support part and assembly analysis activities
  • Support prototyping and tests to meet product specifications,
  • Analysis checks and optimization of product reliability
  • Documentation of improvement project results and classification of results

Profile:


  • Ongoing bachelor studies in the field of mechanical design or similar programs
  • General experience on 3D design and documentation tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge in the field of optics, optoelectronics and/or camera systems is a plus
  • Good language skills in English and German, written and spoken
  • High level of flexibility, creativity and initiative
  • Good team spirit, organizational and communication skills
