Application specialist (f/m/d) for Rheology with a scientific / technical degree
Onsite position in Karlsruhe


Your tasks:


  • Application support for our internal and external customers at home and abroad
  • Preparation, execution and followup of instrument demonstrations in our customer center together with our sales team
  • Testing customer samples in our demo laboratories and generating reports
  • Coresponsibility for the organization of our laboratories and for the compliance with all safety regulations
  • Conducting risk assessments as part of the test preparation
  • Supporting Product marketing with generating Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives to understand customer needs for new and improved products and services
  • Maintaining contact with key opinion leaders from industry and universities
  • Presenting our products and solutions at tradeshows, symposiums and seminars around the world.
  • Presentation of posters and lectures at international conferences
  • Implementation of training courses and workshops including the preparation of necessary materials and documents
  • Supporting the preparation of technical marketing materials
  • Supporting product management and R&D department in the new and further development of instruments and accessories.

Your qualifications:


  • Scientific / technical degree in the fields of chemistry / physics / chemical engineering / process engineering / material science or comparable qualification
  • Experience in direct customer support is desirable
  • Good German language skills and fluent English language skills, both written and spoken. Other foreign language skills are a plus
  • Ability to work in a team, willing to work with a heterogeneous group of people
  • Working independently & possessing the ability to organize yourself
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20%). National and international.
