Technical skills (Required - Mandatory)

Must possess experience as an enterprise architect for a completed largescale project
Experience in different kind of infrastructure discovery tools with detailed understanding of service mapping, dependency mapping and upstreamdownstream mapping
Experience in using different migration tools and techniques (DoubleTake, PlateSpin, ASR, CloudEndure, VMware Convertor etc.)
Strong understanding of Hybrid Cloud infrastructure and architecture with some midlevel knowledge around different workload types and their characteristics
Must have undertaken the role of Technology Architect in a few projects
Must have experience of architectures involving system planning, networking, operating systems, cloud, backup & archival, EMS, RPO/RTO management
Ability to cope in a technically complex and fastchanging environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadlinedriven situation.
Must have experience in architecting Hybrid Cloud solution and exposure to Software Defined Datacenter
Industry certification like VMWare Certified Professional
Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) or EMC Data Center Architect(EMCDCA) / NSX / VCF / OpenStack /
Data Center certified

Technical skills (Required - Nice to have)

TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect is desired
ESXi, NSX, vSAN, VCF, KVM, Neutron, CEPH, OpenStack, Compute (Blade), SAN (IBM, DellEMC, HPE), NAS (NetApp, ISILON), Object, Backup (DellEMC, Veeam), Physical Hosting, OS (Win, Lin), DB (Oracle, SQL, DB2, MongoDB)

Area of responsibilities

Shall be single point of contact and owner for the Technology and Architecture
Develop deep understanding of existing architecture and deployment
Imbibe key architectural principles proposed by Customer and perform detailed design of Cloud, Virtualization, Network, Security, Tools, Storage, Servers, Backup & Replication architecture
Responsible for creating or selecting the most appropriate architecture and technology to enable scalability, flexibility, agility, consolidation & optimization involving latest technology trends
Manage architectural changes and ensure timely and accurate documentation of all key changes
Migration planning including service sequencing, cutover and rollback plans
Responsible for migration execution till stabilization, signoff and handover
Foresee possible technological risks on the transformed DC and workout possible mitigation strategies
