Medical Affairs Specialist (m/w/d)

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties_:
_**- Ensuring accuracy of communications to support assigned therapy area, including content development and review/approval of technical, educational, and promotional materials as needed

Represent Medical Affairs on crossfunctional teams (strategic projects related to product development, risk management, clinical evaluation, usability, product marketing and business development)
Design, implement and evaluate Usability evaluations of existing and development products, including functional risk analysis
Provide detailed medical assessments related to routine and adhoc review of complaints
Contribute to the development and authoring of technical documentation (SOPs, medical assessments, health hazard evaluations, etc.) for internal and external use
Participate in risk management activities to identify clinical risks and hazards, data on safety and performance, adverse events and benefitrisk profile of the portfolio, including documentation (HHEs)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_:
_**- Advanced scientific degree with 3+ years of industry experience or Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of previously related experience

Experience working with a variety of stakeholders across multiple disciplines on medical communications, educational content and deliverables
Solid understanding of Global Regulatory Authority policies regarding medical device companies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills, selfmotivated, highly accountable for deliverables and timelines
Effective problemsolving capabilities, solution oriented with the ability to understand, review and communicate complex technical concepts in crossfunctional teams
Ability to work independently and execute goals while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with the appropriate medical and/or surgical environment and current treatment options or relative experience that fulfills this requirement
