Are you capable of spearheading and directing strategic initiatives?


The purpose of this role is to firstly work closely with the customer to understand their Business and IT strategy enabling our services, innovative ideas, and cost/service improvements to remain relevant and stable to the clients end user community.

Secondly the role sets out our strategic direction, development, and future growth for Technology on the Account, reaching back into SSL and its partners to achieve this.


What you will be doing:


Contractual Requirements (~2days/Week):


  • Lead the technical approach of the Supplier
  • Represent the Supplier in technical forums alongside Authority technical leadership and other Authority service providers as required
  • Engage in strategy development activities
  • Provide a focal point for Supplier innovation
  • Jointly works with the client to advise the strategy for technology
  • Recommends technology solutions to the client to meet current and future needs. Provides thought leadership and establishes/leads capability demonstrations or workshops

Business (Account) Requirements (~2 days):


  • Represent the strategic agenda in relevant Governance meetings
  • Define the account's strategic direction from a technological perspective
  • Keep informed of new market trends, products, and best practices in the relevant technology landscape
  • Deliver thought leadership, promote innovation and creativity with the Account teams and clients
  • Work closely with Business Development (CRM) and broader teams to define and deliver new products/services and enhancements for growth opportunities
  • Creates and Maintains Account based Roadmaps as required

Business (Broader) Requirements (~1 day):


  • Knowledge shares with and learns from the wider ADS CTO community
  • Inputs into NS and ADS strategic direction (E.g., Cloud Strategy)

What you will bring:


  • Business focused and with a good understanding of technology (AWS would be beneficial)
  • You will be solution focused, you can lead and drive strategic direction, challenge, influence, and form strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Agile approach
- eDV clearance

£80,000 to £85,000
