Become a part of our international Operations team at one of our locations in Hanau, Germany . For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime (40h/week) as Airfreight SpecialistYour duties and responsibilities will include:
- The entire handling of airfreight shipments, including customs export and import processes and invoicing
- Leading price negotiations with external service providers
- Bid proposal management for spot shipments
- Support of airfreight tender
- Following up on offers provided
- Actively supporting the implementation of necessary measures, adjustments and changes
- Replying to standard requests for information from other offices
- Communication with suppliers, agents and foreign offices
What you can contribute:
- Completed apprenticeship as merchant for logistics and logistics services, or equivalent
- Knowledge of air freight and the global logistics industry
- Talent for communicating thanks to excellent German and English skills, which you can also confidently showcase on an international level
- Clientcentric way of thinking and acting, as well as a friendly and confident appearance
- Team skills, flexibility and dedication, with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to be assertive and take responsibility, and a distinct handson mentality round off your profile
