About Kita Kinzigstraße and the position
Our Kita Kinzigstraße is both inclusive and bilingual in accordance to the immersion concept.

The multi-professional team (16 employees) consists to one half of German and one half of English native speakers who accompany and support 50 children in their individual development.

The children experience both languages as a natural part of everyday life at the Kita.


Your tasks:


  • In a bilingual management position you will be responsible for the operation of the kita
  • As a manager, you approach all day kita topics holistically and support your team as a leader
  • Your tasks include, in particular: pedagogicalcontent planning and organisation, working in an educational partnership with the parents, cooperation with the team, as well as with the company administration, public institutions, authorities, and specialist services
  • In addition, you will contribute your own pedagogical skills and experience to the team

Your profile

  • You possess relevant education in the pedagogical field, preferably with a university degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma). If you have a foreign degree, it should be officially recognised by the Berlin Senate
  • You have several years of practical experience in the field of (intercultural) Early Education, preferably also in Germany
  • Ideally, you already have leadership experience
  • You have a keen interest in inclusive work in a bilingual context
  • You can display a high degree of initiative, creativity and organisational skills
  • Even as an assertive leader you cultivate and maintain a respectful style of communication
  • You possess advanced German language skills (B2 level or higher)
  • You are familiar with office standard and kita software
