Your tasks:

Furthermore, the Deployment Specialist Dedicated Projects acts as the coordinator and point of contact for software enhancements with major impact on operational processes and/or the system landscape.
Leads deployment projects in Schenker country organizations with special complexity and/or unique requirements across its entire lifecycle
Oversees and coordinates Deployment activities for major software enhancements. This includes, but is not limited to, coordination of activation, communication with stakeholders, etc.
Coordinates with other (IT) departments, especially Key Account Management and respective IT departments
Supports Deployment Team Leads in all aspects of a Deployment project in respective target organizations, including project management (planning, execution and handover phase) for the responsibilities of Global ITMAO Deployment project
Communicates with all stakeholders and provides regular updates on project progress
Oversees configuration in system to support local business process or practice
Supports dedicated User Acceptance Tests
Provides IT Deployment Specialists (Level I and II) as well as Technical Authors with support and expertise

Requirements:

A solid understanding of the business processes in Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding
Lasting experience in software rollout in the logistics industry
Ability to communicate and manage across different groups of stakeholders and management
Willing to travel and be away from home on a regular basis
Good communication skills
Fluent in business English, both written and verbal
Crosscultural sensitivity
Having worked in different, cultural environments would be beneficial
Familiar with creating Learning Material (presentations, exercises, etc.)
Affinity with education
Intermedia or advanced user skill of the most common MS Office products, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
A pragmatic and logical approach
Training on the tools and methodology used will be provided
