What will you be doing?
Global support organization for all institutional lending businesses at Morgan Stanley
Supporting includes following parts:

- responsible to manage together with the team head the GLS and other team responsibilities including supervisory checks, management reporting, project support, regulatory reporting, interface

Contact point for internal and external queries.

QUALIFICATIONS

What we're looking for:
Educated to a degree or equivalent academic level
Experience of working in one or more of the following Operational processes: Global Loans Services, Cash Management, Cash Settlements, Securities Settlements, Network Management
Strong confident communicator (written and oral)
Knowledge of regulations for Banks and Broker Dealer in Germany
Knowledge of operational functions and processes of a broker dealer

Skills that will help you in the role:

Experience in Financial Services Operations
Fluent in written & spoken English (required) & German (preferred)
Experience in supervision of a global Bank / Broker Dealer
Ability to meet tight deadlines and has a delivery focused approach
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for quality output

Facing off to all Morgan Stanley businesses and interacting with all other parts of the Firm, the Operations division supports a complex, multifaceted portfolio of businesses in full compliance with regulatory guidelines and the directives of the Operating Committee and Board of Directors. Members of the Operations team have a unique vantage point as the division touches all parts of the business, front to back.
One of the largest divisions in the firm, Operations has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and esolutions. Throughout, we continually strive to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures and markets.
