We have an immediate mandatory internship opening at our Hanover location for 6 months. The position offers the possibility of remote working with an office presence as required.

ABOUT THE JOB:

Participation in the further development of the corporate strategy
Support on innovation issues, such as scouting relevant startups or setting up a groupwide innovation process
Accompanying strategic projects in the various business areas of the group (e.g. on the topics of digitization, financing strategies, portfolio management)
Support in the creation of strategic market, trend and benchmark analyses
Support in building business intelligence reports (e.g. in Tableau)
Participation in the implementation of ad hoc strategy issues
Preparation of professional board documents / presentations

ABOUT YOU:

Studies in business administration, economics, tourism, at least in the 4th semester, preferably with a focus either strategy, finance or controlling
Initial practical experience in the field of corporate development/strategy desirable
Very good knowledge of using Microsoft Office
Initial practice in using business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Spotfire desirable
Fluent written and spoken English
Strong interest in the tourism industry and analytical issues
Distinctive analytical skills and quick comprehension, even of complex content
Enthusiastic personality, who approaches issues in a structured and creative manner
Independent, careful and reliable way of working
Flexibility, resilience and strong team spirit
