You are responsible for

  • Revision of the concept of a test tool for a noninvasive measurement technique
  • Improvement and completion of the prototype design and commissioning of the tool
  • Performance of statistical analyses

You are a part of
the Philips Medizin Systeme Böblingen GmbH. We develop and produce patient monitoring systems for the global market. These are mainly used in emergency and intensive care medicine, pregnancy and neonatal monitoring, surgery and anesthesia. You will work in the Hardware Testing team, which is part of the development organization.


To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Current technical or scientific studies, e.g. in the field of medicaltechnical informatics, medical informatics, electrical engineering, electrical and information technology, bioinformatics, physics, medical physics, medical engineering, clinical research and epidemiology, mathematics, biomedical sciences, biophysics, biology, computer science, human medicine or comparable studies
  • Enthusiasm and initiative to familiarize yourself with technical issues
  • Experience in at least one programming language
  • Knowledge in C language and LabView is an advantage
  • Experience in mechanics design and knowledge of at last one CAD system (e.g. CATIA, CREO,..)
  • Independent way of working
  • Motivation to learn new things and solve problems
  • Fun in teamwork
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • It is possible for you to work onsite
