Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing management accounts preparation, budgeting, forecasting, decision support and ad hoc analysis.


HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Prepare monthly accounts including in depth commentary and analysis on business performance versus budget to tight deadlines
  • To further develop the management accounting reporting pack
  • Management of stock reporting for all EMEA entities.
  • Responsible for the intercompany agreement between all EMEA entities and Edge, and between EMEA entities (transfer of stock)
  • Development and delivery of Key Performance Indicator report
  • Helping with the preparation of the yearly budget for the business
  • Assist with the preparation and audit statutory financial statements for multiple entities in Europe
  • Manage the implementation of system improvements and efficiency initiatives
  • Balance sheet accounts reconciliation
  • Review supplier invoices and manage agency costs
  • Month End journals
  • Assist with VAT return
  • Assisting with annual audit process
  • Adhoc reporting

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • 5 years of similar experience and a degree or equivalent level qualification
  • A relevant professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Ability to work and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Practical post qualification experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good technical accounting skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
  • NetSuite knowledge
  • IT literate, with Excel being a prerequisite
  • Both English & German skills are a must
