• Prepare and cook a variety of meals including breakfast and dinner buffets for residents, lunch service with two daily menu options, and specialized meals for students with food intolerances
• Daily preparation of salad buffets and organization of seasonal buffets for events such as Carnival, Halloween, Christmas, and summer celebrations
• Fill and distribute meal containers, monitor food temperatures during service, and clean containers after distribution
• Interact with meal participants, handle cash transactions for visitors
• Receive food deliveries, check quality and quantity, organize storage, and maintain temperature records (including maintaining HACCP logs)
• Participate in daily team meetings, discuss daily and weekly plans, and contribute to menu planning (focusing on child-friendly nutrition and diverse contemporary cuisine)
• Act as a substitute for the kitchen management
• Adhere to personal hygiene measures before and during work, follow legal hygiene regulations, especially HACCP guidelines in the kitchen area (wearing protective clothing, cleaning and disinfecting hands, using hand protection cream)
• Completed apprenticeship as a cook
• Several years of experience in cooking roles is desirable
• Solid knowledge of healthy nutrition in communal catering, food hygiene, and food handling
• Clean work ethic, friendly and courteous demeanor, especially when interacting with children and teenagers
• Team player with strong communication, cooperation, and business skills
• Submission of a health certificate
