Minimum requirements:


  • Ph.
D. degree in electrical engineering, applied physics or related fields

  • 5+ years of experience

Preferred qualifications:


  • Demonstrated handon experiences and publications in the area of silicon photonics
  • Demonstrated handon experience in the design and development of silicon photonics chips for sensing and optical interconnects
  • Experience in silicon photonics design tools and software
  • Experience in fabrication and testing of silicon photonics chips
  • Familiar with optical interconnects and optical transceivers
  • Knowledge of industry trends, industry standards, supply chain, and reliability requirements.
  • Participation in international Standards committee, publication record in field related journals, magazines or conferences. Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
