Minimum requirements:

D. degree in electrical engineering, applied physics or related fields

5+ years of experience

Preferred qualifications:

Demonstrated handon experiences and publications in the area of silicon photonics
Demonstrated handon experience in the design and development of silicon photonics chips for sensing and optical interconnects
Experience in silicon photonics design tools and software
Experience in fabrication and testing of silicon photonics chips
Familiar with optical interconnects and optical transceivers
Knowledge of industry trends, industry standards, supply chain, and reliability requirements.
Participation in international Standards committee, publication record in field related journals, magazines or conferences. Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
