About the Role

The Green Recruitment Company is excited to offer a significant opportunity for a Senior Geophysicist with expertise in offshore cable and pipe installation.

Located in Bremen, this contract role involves critical work with a transmission specialist dedicated to projects in renewable energy and green hydrogen.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive geophysical surveys and data analysis for offshore cable and pipe installation projects.
Develop models and simulations to assess and mitigate geological risks.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geophysical insights into engineering projects.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior geophysicists and project teams.
Prepare detailed geophysical reports and contribute to strategic project decisions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in geophysics, especially within offshore environments.
Proficiency in using advanced geophysical tools and software for subsea installations.
Excellent analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex geological data.
Strong leadership qualities and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor teams.
A master's degree or higher in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field is required.
