While we have been improving lives of People Living with HIV (PLHIV / patients) for 30 years, this is an especially exciting time to be at ViiV, as we evaluate novel approaches to treatment and prevention that could further reduce the impact of HIV on individuals and communities.


The function acts as a direct report to Hub GM and will be leading the Operations and Performance team in ViiV Germany and Switzerland.

The role has a specific focus on supporting the delivery of the ViiV Europe Ambition in ViiV Germany and Switzerland and will lead a team responsible for turning insights from multiple data sources into actions which accelerate uptake for our two priority products Dovato and Vocabria + Rekambys.

The team is the engine which inspires and mobilises Marketing, Sales, and medical teams to prioritise activities based on data-driven insights on customer, account, national, regional, and global level.


The Operations and Performance Lead sits in the Hub Management Team and is accountable for Performance tracking and visualisation, Market insights, Omnichannel (Customer experience (Cx), Sales prediction models, etc.), Digital Data & Analytics (DDA), and Capability interventions.

The role involves leadership of 4-6 direct reports and 2-4 indirect reports (SLA with GSK, support functions), matrix/cross-functional-operations within ViiV, as well close collaboration with GSK in both Germany and in Switzerland.


Key Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

Performance tracking and visualisation

  • Establish clear link between Ambition, Business plan & Monthly Performance Reviews, and align performance management across the LOC (Multiskilled team meetings
  • MSTs, local Performance meetings, etc.) enabling tiered accountability, objectives setting and escalation management.
  • Leading on integration of LOC and Europe performance management and reporting processes (KPIs, dashboards, etc.), including data validation and analyses, for the purpose of actionoriented performance meetings and organisational focusing to improved competitiveness.
  • Strengthen the outcome dedicated performance behaviour in our business culture.
  • Continuously improve LOC Monthly Performance Review Process across (MPR) with clear & aligned lead and lag KPIs across the LOC teams. Ensure reporting and driving performance a seamlessly connected to release energy on external focus.

Market insights, Omnichannel, DDA

  • Lead on market research deployment as well as targeted research projects which would enable collection of deeper insights on market and customers.
  • Translated data collected via multiple sources into suggestions and actions that would grow organisation competitiveness.
  • Lead DDA team by ensuring delivery of key projects at pace and with measurable business impact, in a balanced BAU & experimental approach. Ensure data validation, visualisation, and translation (analytics).
  • Execution excellence partnering and orchestration of all commercial owned analytics as account performance based on PHS-Data, Sales Force target setting and incentive as well as provision of optimal analysis tools (including on Power BI).
  • Lead the Customer Experience prog
