TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.

They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels.

They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.

Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.


The Role:

The purpose of this position is to orchestrate and implement the global S&OE process.

The target is to have a very strong S&OE Process in place that is strongly connected with S&OP and the impact into both directions.

S&OE need to become the alert and decision making process in relation to Inventory, Delivery, Efficiency and Cost. The Process ensures a forward looking gap analysis and action process, same as monitoring
of Performance and Attainment of Plans.

This individual is responsible for the implementation and optimization of the processes and activities associated with the S&OE process heading all S&OE functions.

Moreover, as an additional responsibility, the function will take the lead for the implementation and governance of a global system gate keeping, same as Master Data Process related to S&OE.


Tasks Summary & Responsibilities:


  • Liaison with Coordinators and Executive Owners of each element in the S&OE process
  • Works with management team to identify and resolve issues in support of S&OE
  • Ensures that issues and imbalances which occur during the weekly S&OE cycle are reviewed, resolved or escalated within the framework and ensures that decisions are brought into the S&OE Meetings
  • Identifies, develops and implements process improvement plans to optimize S&OE processes to meet TE ́s objectives for quality, cost, responsiveness and growth
  • Chairs and owns Global MBR Meetings
  • Prepare and Present the Supply and Demand Plans and Metrics in preparation for Supply and Demand Review, and Management Business Review
  • Prepares and Presents detailed Capability Validation of the Supply Plan
  • Identifies Imbalances in Demand and Supply and presents alternatives for management decisions.
  • Owner of issue/action tracking resulting from supply and demand review process. Communicate and coordinate as needed the implementation of action plans
  • Develop, update, and maintain supply Gaps in S&OE Workbench environment based on inputs from the regions
  • Ensures E2E Supply visibility for verticals such as Emobility and Data Connectivity, same as cross regional Supply Plans
  • Helps to install Performance views on OEE, Equipment, Supplier and critical labour and drives strong Supplier Performance integration
  • Initiate simulations to find best possible supply situation according to agreed demand
  • Facilitates S&OE meetings, including development of scenarios that reoptimize the business and develop gapclosing solutions
  • Ensure consistent and predictable attendance for key meetings along weekly S&OE cycle
  • Drives Global and crossregional Transformation of Processes and Systems
  • Delivers onesource of truth on Analytics for Inventory, Service, Delivery, Cost
  • Close collaboration with the Global Automotive and GLOG Logistics teams on S&OE Impacts related to freight or Logistics
  • Responsible for the Global S&OE System Landscape and connection into MRP, gatekeeping system enhancements globally and facilitates between regions for alignment

PREFERED CANDIDATE PROFILE:


  • Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 or more years of S&OE, Supply Chain Leadership experience, preferably Automotive
  • 10 or more years of Materials or Operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • 10 or more years of leadership experience of crossfunctional teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
  • Strong Experience with Matrix Organizations
  • Cross cultural experience with leading of global Teams
  • General knowledge of operations/manufacturing systems, including quality methods and MRPII concepts
  • General knowledge of business functions, such as cost accounting and budgeting
  • Strong Knowledge of S&OE systems and processes
  • Travel of 1025% required
