JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Operations Support Agent is responsible for data quality and integrity. Set ups are expected to be delivered within dedicated timelines of any of our partners.

Within the Operations Department we are working partially manually while our target is the achievement of as many as automated processes for bulk data uploads, not only understand the complexity of mapping the data between XML interfaces and the content database.


Our new Operations Support Agent supports the team remotely, or based with the team in Hamburg, Germany: the gate to the (car rental) world.


We are looking for a new colleague to support the Operations team with seniority skills, either fully remote or based in Hamburg, Germany.


The partner profiles, car rental supplier such as client partner, are basis for any technology product a partner might get.

Car rental inventory;
- availability, -prices and -products must be maintained as per the commercial agreements.

The content in the database is maintained both ways: manual and automated. The car rental product must be validated and updated daily in order to show a reliable and high quality product to the end customer/travel agent at any time


The close collaboration internally with the Development Department is given by nature, any automated way of receiving/sending inventory or other content must be understood in order to validate products and to guarantee the high demand quality.

Direct communication between car rental supplier partners and the Operations Department is part of the role.


The nature of Operations Department and within the role of an Operations Support Agent any failures and errors must be found and sorted with highest priority.

This includes the immediate reporting of incidents and any actions to be taken in order to get those incidents resolved.


Incidents reported by external partners must be analyzed for both car rental supplier and client partner, risk assessment and actions included.

The expectation on the Operations Department is to provide with solutions: new features, bug fixing or improvements.


Essential skills:

  • Language skills: Fluent English (spoken, written, read)
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft SQL
  • Experienced skills in Ticket system (preferably JIRA Atlassian)
  • Completed studies or equivalent certifications in the field of XML and/or JSON and/or Microsoft SQL
  • 35 years of professional experience in this field
  • Good communication skills
  • Solutionoriented and serviceoriented way of thinking
  • Team player

Desirable skills:

  • Intermediate level of API programming standards
  • Basic level skills for GitHub
  • Basic level in car rental business or other touristic industry standards
  • Basic skills with CRS / CRM systems
