We are currently looking for a highly motivated Payroll Specialist (M/F/D) to join our Payroll team in Meiningen, Berlin or Munich or remote. Ihr Aufgabengebiet:


Principle duties and essential functions

  • Central interface in the preparatory payroll process between our external service providers and Adtran
  • First point of contact for queries from the company, advise employees and ensure the successful implementation of the monthly payroll process
  • Ensuring a continuously high level of service in the context of all payrollspecific issues that require indepth knowhow and expertise
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, internal Group regulations and company guidelines as well as quality standards with regard to data security in the context of all payroll processes
  • Advice on special topics and active cooperation at interfaces in the companywide operational areas as well as taking on the resulting administrative tasks (including risk assessment, recommendation for further decisions and initiation and implementation of appropriate measures)
  • Timely preparation of data transfer for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in finance, controlling, bank portal, etc. as well as support in the reconciliation of payrollrelated financial accounts

Other tasks and responsibilities

  • Independent performance of internal audits and company audits by external bodies
  • Support various projects
  • Knowledge, skills and experience required
  • Commercial apprenticeship or further training in the area of payroll accounting
  • Several years of professional experience in HR with a focus on payroll and good knowledge of labor and social security law
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in an international corporate environment
  • Communication skills and the ability to convey complex payroll issues to specific target groups
  • Thoroughly, goaloriented and independent way of working
  • Business fluent German language skills and good English language skills
  • Polish language skills be advantageous
