A vacancy for a Work Student (d/M/F) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join the Landing Gear Team (TEYYH-TL4)

The Landing Gear System (LGS)

Team at Airbus Defence and Space Manching is responsible for:

Requirements Definition, Development, Qualification and Through-Life Management of the complete Landing Gear System for four military aircraft types, including EF2000 and Tornado.


Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Support to the progression of Landing Gear System in-service support activities;
  • Support to the progression of Landing Gear System design changes;
  • Support to the generation of technical documents and memoranda;
  • Administration of legacy project technical documentation and improvement of the file management system.
  • Enrolled full time Student, preferably studying within an accredited Engineering programme,
  • Advanced user, MS Office suite
  • MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced verbal and written English, Fluency in German
