- Assumes accountability for project engineering costs, time, and quality
- Analyzes contracts to identify project-specific (local, customer) deviations from our established standards
- Holds responsibility for planning, monitoring, and managing interfaces among different product teams and plant engineering disciplines
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer regarding all engineering-related matters
- Organizes and leads both internal and external engineering reviews (2D & 3D)
- Manages engineering deviations and changes
- Assumes ownership of the engineering phase within the integrated project schedule, collaborating with technical managers and the technical system manager, supported by the project scheduler
- Plans, monitors, and controls deliverable-based engineering efforts
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience after your studies or education as an engineering manager in significant plant engineering projects
- Profound knowledge of metallurgical plant engineering
- Demonstrated assertiveness, effective communication, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Keen awareness of pricing and cost considerations
- High level of resilience and a collaborative mindset (teamwork)
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German
- Openness to international travel
