Your opportunity:


You can start the new year with a fantastic opportunity to be our next People Officer (HR operations) in our German office (St.

Ingbert). Our team delivers world-class administrative services, and you will help us keep up the pace. As the People Ops team, we make sure that everything is in place.

We are looking to implement and improve our processes every day, and that is what you are committed to as well.

You will be primarily collaborating with our lovely People Operations Officer Ingeborg working with and for 50+ great colleagues in Germany.

As the People and Culture department - divided into People Business, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Employer branding - we are the beating heart of CLEVR.

You will be part of it, working within the People Operations team, consisting of Ingeborg Clemens (Germany), Danique van Bergen (Netherlands) and Arnoud Willems (Netherlands), the latter being your caring team lead.

You will get to interact with a diverse group of colleagues from all over the world, all of whom are working from our other CLEVR offices (i.e. the Netherlands, Norway, and Eastern Europe).


Your role will include:

Never having a dull day. Every day will come with different challenges, for example, preparing the introduction days and everything else related to the on
- and offboarding of new hires in our German office(s) we also have a smaller one in Hamburg. Or, you will be updating and setting up administrative best practices for contracts, letters and agreements, and maintenance of the HR system, among others. You will also be your German colleagues' favourite person, as you will be carrying out Payroll activities (collecting payroll data and changes, communicating with the payroll provider, controlling deadlines, etc). And, whenever the need arises, you will be answering your colleagues' questions regarding topics that range from car policy to holidays and leave.


What you bring to the table:

  • You have a minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in a similar, problem-solving position and are a bit of an all-rounder HR Ops talent.
  • You are familiar with (elements of) German labour law, car management and payroll activities.
  • It's a big plus if you have worked with Personio, Salesforce, DKV and Datev before.
  • You are available on Mondays and Tuesdays and one more day of the week for several hours: We are searching for somebody who can support our team 1525 hours a week.
  • You are a vibrant person and love it when your day is busy: being bored is not your thing.
  • You are easy to approach because of your open and charming attitude.
  • You are fluent in German and English. Any other languages are a plus (especially Dutch or Norwegian) but not a requirement.
