The transportation clerk role is responsible for planning of the inbound containers in the distribution centers.

Consistent and accurate planning of inbound containers for the DC(s).
Constant liaison with warehousing team for planning purposes.
Clear communication/collaboration with internal stakeholders and rest of inbound team members.
Continuous communication with external stakeholders i.e forwarders, carriers etc.
Advises senior management proactively of critical situations along with the expected impact and mitigation actions planned.
Seeks for constant innovation by taking ownership on specific processes.
Validates invoices from carriers, forwarders, agents.
Escalation to Line Management on certain transportation topics.
Promote transportation dept ́s overall objectives.
Minimum 3 years Transportation and/or Shipping & Logistics experience, within a preferably highvolume logistics environment.
Eager to learn and implement new processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent listening skills.
Capability of handling multiple competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to have a cando attitude and enjoy a handson approach to problem solving.
Team player and solo performer.
Previous airfreight / railfreight experience is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Proficient level of English language skills. German & additional languages is a plus.
