PANORAMA - Solutions for a Healthy Planet is a partnership initiative, grounded in its vision of a global community where changemakers share, adopt, and scale-up inspiring solutions for a healthy planet.

PANORAMA provides an open, neutral platform for anyone to share their successes across a wide range of topics, learn from the experiences of other practitioners and exchange knowledge as part of the community.

It connects local solutions with global policy processes and frameworks, such as the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

Under PANORAMA, IUCN partners with GIZ, UNDP, UNEP, GRID-Arendal, the World Bank, ICCROM, ICOMOS, IFOAM - Organics International, Rare, OCTO and EcoHealth Alliance.

Jointly with GIZ, IUCN has been managing the initiative over the past 10 years.

IUCN also leads on promoting solutions across 8 out of 11 PANORAMA Communities, on topics such as species conservation, protected and conserved areas, sustainable urban development and restoration.

PANORAMA has been recognized as an existing tool that will support implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. An MoU with the CBD Secretariat was signed in 2022.

Since 2020, the Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUV) has supported coordination and strategic development of PANORAMA through the PANORAMA support project.

A 2nd phase of the project has just been approved and will be jointly implemented by UNDP, GIZ and IUCN.

It will allow for further establishing PANORAMA as a key tool for knowledge management IUCN internally as well as externally.- The incumbent will support the work of the PANORAMA Management Unit, consisting of the PANORAMA Coordinators and management staff of GIZ and IUCN.

The incumbent will support most project activities that are led or co-led by IUCN, working closely with the IUCN PANORAMA Coordinator (Senior Manager - Knowledge Management) and other members of the project team.

The incumbent will also work closely with project team members at GIZ and IUCN, as well as with PANORAMA Community Coordinators across all 12 partner organizations.
