Associate Scientist Product Development Beverage (M/F/d)

In the CD&D Team in Heidelberg

Your Role

You develop innovative concepts and recipes for semifinished and finished products for our national and international customers in the beverage sector
You prepare samples for tastings
You take over the independent processing of customer briefings and accompany the process from the product idea to the final production
You manage projects and interact with internal stakeholders (marketing, R&D, sales, production, quality assurance, etc.)
You qualify beverages according to their sensory and physical properties
You act as a technical contact for customers and sales and you look after one or more customers on your on responsibility on behalf of CD&D
You take part in customer meetings and prepare the necessary technical presentations for them
You ensure adequate product documentation and data evaluation
You actively participate in strategy development for different product groups and regions
You take over the processing and further development of focus topics in close cooperation with other development groups and adjacent departments

Your Profile

You have a successfully completed degree in the field of beverage or food technology or comparable training
You have gained first practical experience in product development of beverages, as well as in innovation and project management
You have a keen interest in product development and food trends and also like to try something new
You have a passion and technical understanding of complex product development processes, as well as a strong problemsolving ability
You are not afraid of innovation, you are always generating new ideas and you are not afraid to go different ways
You like to show initiative and are able to work under pressure
You are open to new agile working methods and flexible and selforganized working is a matter of course for you
You feel comfortable in a dynamic, international environment and enjoy building partnerships as well as crossfunctional and crosscultural collaboration
You know the current IT programs and have a certain IT affinity
You speak very good English and have a good command of German
You have a valid European work permit
