Job Title:
Head of Quality Management


Job Summary:


This role will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing a robust Quality Management System (QMS) driven by data and metrics, while also considering Functional Safety and CyberSecurity aspects.

This role will support leadership in making informed, data-driven decisions to improve overall quality and compliance within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and enhance QMS using datadriven metrics.
  • Align QMS with business objectives and regulations through crossfunctional collaboration.
  • Expertly construct complex QMS structures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support Agile projects by seamlessly integrating quality assurance.
  • Facilitate external certifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain understanding of software and hardware lifecycles for quality assurance.
  • Integrate quality measures throughout hardware lifecycles.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO 9001, ASPICE, CMMI, IATF 16949, etc.).
  • Utilize PPAP/APQP framework for product quality planning.
  • Integrate safety considerations into QMS (Functional Safety, ISO26262).
  • Ensure resilience to cyber threats through CyberSecurity standards.
  • Incorporate safety considerations into product design (SOTIF).

Required Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Process Excellence roles.
  • Proven experience in building complex Quality Management Systems based on metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multicultural and geographically diverse environments.
  • Experience working in Agile projects, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Previous involvement in external certification processes and compliance activities.
  • Strong understanding of software development and operational lifecycles.
  • Proficiency in hardware design, development, production, operation, and decommissioning lifecycles.
  • Deep knowledge of quality standards including ISO 9001, ASPICE, CMMI, IATF 16949, etc.
  • Familiarity with PPAP/APQP framework for product quality planning and validation.
  • Overall understanding of Functional Safety discipline and ISO26262 standards.
  • Overall understanding of CyberSecurity discipline and related standards.
  • Overall understanding of Safety of the Intended Functionality discipline and related standards.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer).
  • Experience in leading crossfunctional quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams and regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry standards.
