This position will support the administration of the Master of Science in Health Policy Research (MSHP) and the National Clinician Scholars Program (NCSP).

This position is in-person, three days per week, up to 20 hours per week. Limited hybrid work options. Interest in public health, medicine or nursing a plus but not required.

Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt


This position will support the administration of the Master of Science in Health Policy Research (MSHP) and the National Clinician Scholars Program (NCSP).

This position is in-person, three days per week, up to 20 hours per week. Limited hybrid work options. Interest in public health, medicine or nursing a plus but not required.

Administrative Support for MSHP and NCSP:
Assist with general academic program administration, including but not limited to:

  • Support admissions process for MSHP and NCSP.
  • Draft and proof correspondence, edit documents, assist with PowerPoint presentations.
  • Management of Canvas course sites.
  • Database maintenance, data collection, and data entry using Excel, RedCap, Qualtrics, etc.
  • Website updates and social media posts.

Assist with Classes, Meetings, and Events:

  • Assist with weekly catering (receive, set-up, and break down).
  • Event planning assistance: scout locations, make inquiries, schedule events, send invites, track RSVPs, onsite event assistance. Manage database of local event spaces and team building activities, create relationships with vendors.
  • Order supplies, swag, graduation gifts, communicate with vendors.

Office Management and Facilities Oversight:

  • Manage inventory of office supplies and assets such as copiers and printers.
  • Troubleshoot classroom technology issues, manage general AV requests, collaborate with University technical support staff.
  • Facility service requests.
  • Receive and distribute mail.
Other duties as assigned per the needs of the Associate Director and Program Coordinator.


Qualifications:
Required skills include MS Office (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word), Google calendars and software, Zoom.

COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for all positions at the University of Pennsylvania. New hires are expected to be fully vaccinated before beginning work at the University.
