TASKS:


  • Works with multiple teams to design, develop, test and manufacture (safety critical) software/hardware integrated systems
  • Defines the system architecture, including data storage, vehicle and cloud interface, power modes, messaging and data delivery, cellular connection management, etc.
  • Works with product management to break down user stories into technical specifications
  • Organizes and leads design reviews with the engineering teams
  • Researchs and evaluates new technologies and tools. Helps the teams with adoption and implementation
  • Owns the electrical and mechanical interfaces
  • Consults the upper management

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 10 years of practical experience as a developer of embedded hardware and periphery
  • Proven experience and Knowhow with IoT Edge Device development connected to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Experience incorporating hardwarebased security techniques (Hardware Security modules, TrustZone, Secure Boot, etc) into a robust hardware/software system design
  • Experience leading a team of engineers without formal team lead role
  • University degree in electrical engineering or related fields
  • Fluent in German and English
